Dr. Weems, I’m happy to see you here. I remember your sermons/lectures/public offerings from Union Theological Seminary. I wasn’t a student, just a fan of your work, Rev. Dr. James Cone, and Rev. Dr. Delores Williams. I miss them. Miss being able to see and hear you. Have heard almost everything that’s been posted on YouTube several times. Think I first learned of you through Rev. Dr. Delores Williams—my instructor and friend when we were both at Drew University. Blessing and peace to you.
Wow Dr Weems I met you awhile back at a conference my Aunt hosted in DC. You had such a powerful message that spoke to me deeply & I randomly came across this read & when I saw your picture at the bottom I had to digg deep in my head bc I’m bad with names but great with faces lol thank you for this potent message God Bless!
I love the questions that you empower us to ask back! I often get so frustrated at that kind of bad theology that I sometimes just don’t know where to start! Thank you so much for this!
Happy to be here, I think! I miss this sort of writing. From my days of blogging at blogger.com my personal blog Something Within. And I appreciate you for restacking (is that the word?) my recent post. Thanks a lot!
You are so deep, insightful, honest, and real. I have followed you for years and have been in your company several times. You were kind enough to acknowledge my birthday at your conference in Martha’s Vineyard last year. I watch your sermons on YouTube. IMHO you are without peer.

Thank you!!
I have my own thoughts about the comment on their Bible not being our Bible. Curious what angle you’re coming from.
They not like us.
You are always on point my sister!!

But there will come a time, when they will wish He was! 🙏🏾

Dr. Weems, you bless us with your words. Thank you.
